V Chakrapani appointed as an Independent Director on the Board of MIDHANI

New Delhi: The Central Government has appointed V Chakrapani as an Independent Director on the Board of Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited (MIDHANI), a Miniratna PSU under the Ministry of Defence. In a regulatory filing to the stock exchanges on Monday, MIDHANI informed that V Chakrapani has been appointed as a Part-time, non-official (Independent Director) of the company with effect from December 24, 2021, for a period of three years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

V Chakrapani is an MBA (Finance) from the University of Madras is currently associated with Vizag Broadcasting Company Pvt. Ltd. as its Chief Operating Officer since 2012. At Vizag Broadcasting Company Pvt. Ltd. He is the Head of Operations, New Business Development, Adopting New Technologies and Implementation of Networking Projects.

Chakrapani had earlier worked as Director at Sri Chakra Telemedia Pvt. Ltd. where he was responsible for Business Development, Administration and Execution of Projects related to Telecommunications. He has also served as Exe- Director at Bhupati Hotels Ltd. where he was responsible for the administration of all Departments and IT.
