NBCC bags multiple work orders worth Rs 392.30 crore

New Delhi: Navratna PSU, NBCC (India) Limited has said that it has bagged multiple work orders for construction and augmentation work totalling Rs 392.30 crore. In a regulatory filing to the stock exchanges on December 31, the Navratna PSU informed that it has been awarded multiple work orders worth Rs 392.30 crore from the University of Delhi and National Health Mission, Lucknow.

The work orders include the construction of the drug warehouses at Itawa, Lucknow, Hardoi, Unnav and Kannoj from the National Health Mission (NHM), Lucknow at the cost of Rs 46.04 crore. The second order is also from NHM, Lucknow for the augmentation of additional beds by the provision of 6 bedded and 20 bedded pre-feb unit structures under ESRP-II in Bareli Mandal. The cost of this project is Rs 27.8672 crore.

The two other work orders are from Delhi University. The first one is for the construction of the Interdisciplinary academic, administrative and Research Building for Institution of Eminence at Maurice Nagar (G=6 with 2 basements)" with the built-up area of about 1,800 sqm. The value of the second-order is Rs 144 crore. The other order is for constructing the academic buildings for the technological institutions at the north campus with a built-up area of 2,000 square metres (sqm). The total value of the order is Rs 174.49 crore. Thus total work orders stand at Rs 392.30 crore.

NBCC (India) Ltd, being a major implementing agency of the government, is currently executing various iconic projects such as academic buildings of Central and State Universities, IITs and IIMs across the nation.
