New Delhi: At the beginning of week-long 'Vigilance Awareness Week 2019,' NBCC (India) Limited's officials at all levels took the pledge at the headquarters on Monday. They took a pledge to maintain high standards of integrity, transparency and good governance in all its operations.

"During the occasion, PK Gupta, who recently took over the charge of Chairman and Managing Director of NBCC, sent out a strong message to the entire employee fraternity of the company against indulging in any sort of corrupt and unscrupulous activities while discharging their duties at workplace or outside. He reaffirmed that there would be no tolerance for any corrupt practices in NBCC or in the name of NBCC," a press-release from NBCC said.

"The company is observing Vigilance Awareness Week 2019 and has scheduled various awareness workshops, lectures by experts on vigilance matters, essay writing competitions for its employees located at places across the country, in order to generate awareness amongst employees and ensure that there is no room for any dishonest doings at any level that tarnishes the image of the company and impedes its success," the press-release added.
