New Delhi: The Airports Authority of India (AAI) inaugurated its dynamic and visually compelling pavilion at the 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, offering visitors an immersive experience that reflects the event’s theme, Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat. The pavilion highlights India’s growing aviation capabilities, technological advancements and AAI’s vision for sustainable, future-ready air connectivity.
Situated in Hall 1G, the pavilion welcomes visitors with a striking LED archway illuminated with futuristic aviation visuals, leading into a technologically rich space that showcases AAI’s expanding airport network, infrastructure development and modernization initiatives through two anamorphic display walls. The exhibit combines design and digital innovation to present a comprehensive picture of India’s aviation growth story.
Visitors can engage with a series of interactive touch kiosks that highlight key AAI initiatives, including the UDAN regional connectivity scheme, the organisation’s Startup Policy, the upcoming AAI–Routes Asia 2025 event and India’s Air Connectivity Map. A digital flipbook presents airports as architectural landmarks while promoting the unique cultural heritage of their respective regions.
To enhance the visitor experience, AAI has introduced an “Air Quiz” for aviation enthusiasts and an AI-powered Selfie Zone where attendees can virtually transform into various aviation professionals such as pilots, air traffic controllers, aircraft maintenance personnel and emergency responders. A dedicated Briefing Zone offers informative sessions to students and media representatives on AAI’s operations, programmes and long-term vision for the sector.
A key attraction at the pavilion is the Live Air Traffic Control (ATC) Demonstration, giving visitors an inside view of real-time communication and control processes that ensure safe and efficient air traffic movement across India’s skies. The demonstration underscores AAI’s pivotal role in managing India’s air navigation, surveillance and traffic management systems.
AAI’s participation at IITF 2025, being held from November 14 to 27, reflects its commitment to integrating innovation, technology and sustainability in its operations. The organisation emphasised that its continued efforts to build and modernise airports, strengthen connectivity and enhance navigation systems are aligned with the national vision of Viksit Bharat @2047, where aviation plays a central role in economic growth and regional empowerment.
