"Under the 30-year concession, the project will be executed under the public-private partnership model," APSEZ said.

India's largest integrated transport operator said APSEZ will develop CQ-I and CQ-II berths with state-of-the-art mechanised cargo handling systems, deep-draft berths and large-scale storage infrastructure.

The company said the addition enhances APSEZ's access to the mineral-rich hinterland of eastern and central India, supporting long-term cargo growth and network leadership.

APSEZ Whole-time Director and CEO Ashwani Gupta said the Paradip concession will strengthen APSEZ’s presence on the east coast and expand its access to one of India's most important industrial and mineral-rich hinterlands.
