New Delhi: Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd. has announced results for the quarter and year ended March 31. The results were approved by the Board in its Meeting held on May 24, 2023.

Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd is a Miniratna PSU under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG). It has presence in manufacturing and services sectors.

The total income for the fourth quarter of FY 2023-24 decreased by 5.64 percent and stood at Rs 616.71 crores as compared to the same period last year. While the Profit Before Tax (PBT) for the quarter ended March 31 is Rs 78.20 crores, the net profit (PAT) for the quarter is Rs 51.36 crores.

The net income of the company for the year is Rs 2404.17 crores registering a growth of 0.88 percent on the levels achieved in 2022-23. The PBT for the year ended March 31 increased by 31.87 percent to Rs 278.65 crores, the PAT increased by 32.25 percent and stood at Rs 203.47 crores.

The Board of Directors has recommended a dividend of 85 percent for the FY 2023-24 as against 75 percent dividend paid for the FY 2022-23.
