

New Delhi: Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) has announced 50 internship opportunities under the Prime Minister's Internship Scheme (PMIS), an initiative of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, aimed at providing industry exposure to young professionals while supporting the company's operational workforce.

The nine-month internship programme will offer opportunities across technical, administrative and laboratory disciplines. According to BCCL, the selection process, document verification and issuance of joining letters will be carried out through the official Prime Minister's Internship Scheme (PMIS) portal in a transparent manner.

The internship positions include 10 vacancies each for Foreman (Mechanical) and Foreman (Electrical) for candidates holding diploma qualifications in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, respectively. The company has also announced 10 positions for Laboratory Technicians for candidates with a B.Sc. in Chemistry, five positions for Overseers for diploma holders in Civil Engineering, five positions for Pharmacists for diploma holders in Pharmacy, and 10 positions for Clerks for graduates with a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree.
BCCL said detailed information on eligibility criteria, the selection process and other programme-related guidelines is available on the PMIS portal. The last date for submitting applications is December 30, 2026.
The company said the initiative is designed to provide young aspirants with practical industrial experience while contributing to the Government of India's skill development objectives. It added that the programme will also help develop a skilled workforce aligned with BCCL's operational requirements.
