New Delhi: BEML Limited, a leading defence and heavy engineering PSU, inaugurated the second edition of its national conference on emerging technologies, "Tech Milan 2025", with a focus on artificial intelligence, robotics, quantum computing and other disruptive innovations.

The conference, envisioned as a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration, was inaugurated by BEML's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) Shantanu Roy, in the presence of Admiral Karambir Singh (Retd.), former Chief of Naval Staff, and Dr. Shailendra Gade, former Director General of DRDO, along with BEML’s functional directors, advisors, guest speakers and representatives from academia, industry and research institutions.

Building on the success of its maiden edition, "Tech Milan 2025" brought together global technology leaders, researchers, entrepreneurs and innovators to deliberate on breakthrough ideas and future-ready solutions. Leading technology firms including MathWorks, NVIDIA, Siemens, AMD, Intel, Ansys, KPIT, INDIFY Horizon and Tata Elxsi participated and shared insights on technology convergence and innovation.

The thematic sessions explored domains such as artificial intelligence, robotics, quantum computing, sustainable energy, digital twins, advanced manufacturing, autonomous mobility and space technologies. In addition to knowledge-sharing, the event encouraged collaboration across industries, geographies and institutions.

Speaking at the inaugural session, Roy said, “At BEML, we believe technology is not just about advancement, it is about co-creating a better tomorrow. Tech Milan 2025 reflects our commitment to uniting the brightest minds and building a future-ready ecosystem for innovation, sustainability and inclusive growth.”
