New Delhi: Engineering Projects (India) Limited (EPI), a Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Government of India, has secured an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract worth approximately Rs 164 crore from Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Visakhapatnam, for the establishment of the Thermal Hydraulics Test Facility – TRENDS.

According to the company, the project is valued at approximately Rs 164 crore, inclusive of GST. The TRENDS facility is expected to enable cutting-edge research, safety validation, and performance evaluation of nuclear systems.

EPI will execute the project on a turnkey basis, encompassing design, procurement, and construction. The company said it will ensure adherence to stringent safety standards while maintaining high quality and timely delivery.
