The partnership also envisages exploring joint opportunities across the mining value chain to support the country's long-term supply of critical minerals, which are essential for clean energy technologies and the broader energy transition.
The collaboration aligns with India's efforts to secure access to critical mineral resources required for sectors such as renewable energy, electric mobility, advanced manufacturing and energy storage.
