Speaking at the curtain-raiser of the event here, the minister said, “I am confident that the Summit will help build new partnerships, facilitate investment, encourage innovation and strengthen international cooperation across the renewable energy sector."
He informed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has graciously agreed to inaugurate the Bharat Renewable Energy Summit & Expo 2026.
"I warmly invite governments, industry leaders, investors, researchers, innovators, entrepreneurs and development partners from across the world to join us at Bharat Mandapam from 2nd to 5th November 2026," he said.
The Summit will also witness the participation of several Chief Ministers from across the country, Joshi said, adding that invitations have been extended to 34 countries, and we look forward to welcoming Ministers, Policymakers, Ambassadors and Government representatives from around the world.
The Summit will also bring together leading RE developers, technology companies, manufacturers, battery storage firms, green hydrogen pioneers, financial institutions, international organisations and investors.
The minister stated that what makes this edition even more significant is that it will be held alongside two landmark international events: the 9th Session of the International Solar Alliance Assembly and the 4th International Conference on Green Hydrogen.
These 3 global platforms at one venue will create an unparalleled opportunity for industry, finance and research institutions to engage with one another, and shape the next generation of clean energy solutions, he stated.
He exuded confidence that in the coming days, India will cross the landmark of 300 GW of installed non-fossil fuel capacity.

In a couple of weeks, the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana will also cross 50 lakh beneficiary households, he added.
The minister also unveiled the Summit’s official logo, Urja Chakra.
Urja Chakra represents the philosophy that has guided India's clean energy journey– Urja Swaraj, Jan Kalyan, Vishwa Kalyan.
Urja Swaraj means energy sovereignty. It is the belief that India must shape its own energy future by generating its own energy and building domestic capabilities.
He also unveiled the official identity of the Bharat Renewable Energy Summit & Expo 2026 through the launch of a digital portal and mobile application.
The website and the application formally open the doors for governments and industry from across the world to participate in Bharat Renewable Energy Summit & Expo 2026.
