The project involves the construction of roadbed, minor bridges, buildings, general electrical works, and installation of track (excluding supply of rails, sleepers, and thick web switches) for the new broad gauge (BG) railway line between Pipaliya Nankar (Excl.) and Budni (Incl.) stations in the Indore-Budni section of the Bhopal Division, West Central Railway.

The project is to be executed over a period of 36 months, with an additional six-month defect liability period (DLP). It is being executed under a domestic, item rate contract model.

The Letter of Award was issued by the Chief Project Manager of RVNL, Bhopal. The contract adds to IRCON’s robust project portfolio in the rail infrastructure sector and highlights its continued leadership in executing large-scale railway development works across India.
