

New Delhi: NBCC (India) Limited on Thursday said that it has received work orders worth approximately Rs 134.27 crore, excluding GST, for the construction and project management consultancy works across Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha and Kerala.
The information about the project win has been shared by the Navratna PSU in a regulatory filing to the stock exchanges on August 27.

According to the company’s stock exchange filing, the orders have been awarded in the ordinary course of business and comprise three projects for Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), one project from the Directorate of Teacher Education and SCERT, Odisha, and one project from Canara Bank. All five contracts are domestic and are in the nature of Project Management Consultancy.

The largest order, valued at approximately Rs 37.02 crore, is for the construction of Kendriya Vidyalaya School Campus No. 3 at Darbhanga, AIIMS, in Bihar. Another order worth Rs 36.92 crore has been awarded by KVS for construction of a Kendriya Vidyalaya School Campus at Barkatha in Hazaribagh district, Jharkhand.
KVS has also awarded NBCC a Rs 36.64 crore project for construction of a Kendriya Vidyalaya School Campus at Maharajganj in Siwan district, Bihar. The three KVS projects together account for Rs 110.58 crore of the total order value.
In Odisha, NBCC has secured an Rs 11.14 crore order from the Directorate of Teacher Education and SCERT, Bhubaneswar, for construction of a Centre of Excellence for DIET at Bargarh.
The fifth order, valued at approximately Rs 12.55 crore, has been awarded by Canara Bank for construction of its building at Hospital Junction, Alappuzha, Kerala.
