New Delhi: Project Execution has recently been a cause of concern for NBCC as the execution somehow hasn't been able to keep pace with the bloating order book. Keeping that in mind the Navratna CPSU under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), recently organised a brainstorming session with its contractors and consultants. In the conclave various the stakeholders sat together to discuss ways to achieve efficiencies in project execution. It may be mentioned that NBCC keeps on holding such conclaves at regular intervals and this day long conclave provided opportunity to the participants to discuss the hindrances/ constraints faced in implementation of a project and also to seek suggestions to remove the bottlenecks as it is key to further increasing productivity in the construction industry.
"Good platform to discuss hindrances"
Speaking at the conclave NBCC Chairman-cum-Managing Director Dr. Anoop Kumar Mittal, said, "It is a brilliant initiative regularly undertaken by NBCC as there are so many opportunities and ideas out there unexplored and the conclave was a platform for recognizing and sharing the best practices, analysing the recent trends, challenges and strategic recommendations about the same".
