New Delhi: Navratna PSU NBCC (India) Limited has announced the receipt of two new orders, collectively valued at Rs 229.75 crore. The first order, worth Rs 148.4 crore, has been awarded by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bilaspur.

The scope of work under this order includes the construction of 72 residential units, four lecture halls for the nursing and paramedical sciences college, a 204-bed undergraduate boys’ hostel, and a 334-bed undergraduate girls’ hostel. Additionally, the project involves the installation, testing, and commissioning of an interactive rooftop solar PV power generation system.

The second order, valued at Rs 81.35 crore, is for project management consultancy services for the construction of a new hostel, dining building, and allied infrastructure at the permanent campus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Visakhapatnam.

These orders come on the heels of multiple contract wins worth Rs 405 crore, which NBCC announced earlier. These projects include construction works in Delhi, Odisha, Mayurbhanj, Uttar Pradesh, and Mumbai.

NBCC’s stock remained flat on Friday, trading at Rs 91.97 per share at 11:35 am. While the stock has declined 23.83 percent over the past six months, it has gained 31.08 percent in the past year, reflecting mixed investor sentiment.

NBCC, known for its expertise in civil construction and project management, continues to strengthen its order book with significant contracts in both public and academic sectors, reaffirming its position as a key player in India’s infrastructure development landscape.
