New Delhi: The Union Minister of Power and Housing & Urban Affairs Manohar Lal on Sunday inaugurated GRIDCON 2025, an International Conference-cum-Exhibition, at the India International Convention and Expo Centre (IICC), Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, New Delhi. Being organised by Power Grid from March 9 to 11, the event is being held under the patronage of the Ministry of Power in association with CIGRE India.

The inaugural ceremony has been attended by Union Minister of State for Power & New and Renewable Energy Shripad Yesso Naik, along with Power Grid CMD RK Tyagi senior officials from the Ministry of Power, Power Grid, and other Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) in the power sector. The event witnessed participation from global power sector professionals, industry leaders, and experts.

The conference is expected to bring together over 2000 delegates, present 150 technical papers, host 150 exhibition companies, and include representatives from 30 countries

The conference is expected to bring together over 2000 delegates, present 150 technical papers, host 150 exhibition companies, and include representatives from 30 countries. With the theme "Innovations in Grid Resilience," discussions at the event will center around emerging technologies, infrastructure advancements, and smart solutions aimed at transforming power generation, transmission, distribution, and consumption.
