Copper futures slip on muted demand

New Delhi, Nov 17 (PTI) Copper futures on Friday fell Rs 1.80 to Rs 706.55 per kilogram as participants cut their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for November delivery eased by Rs 1.80 or 0.25 per cent to Rs 706.55 per kg in a business turnover of 5,074 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid a muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade. PTI SGC SHW
