PTC India, NLC India Renewables incorporate JV for green energy projects

New Delhi: PTC India Limited and NLC India Renewables Limited have incorporated a joint venture company, NIRL PTC Renewables Limited, to develop green energy projects and explore related opportunities.

The joint venture company was incorporated on September 16, 2026, following approval from the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM), Ministry of Finance. PTC India received the certificate of incorporation from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs on September 16.

NLC India Renewables holds a 74 percent stake in the new entity, while PTC India holds the remaining 26 percent stake, comprising 26,000 equity shares.

NIRL PTC Renewables operates in the energy sector and will focus on developing green energy projects and exploring opportunities in the segment.

PTC India said the joint venture has been incorporated pursuant to the terms of the joint venture agreement between the two companies and subject to other approvals that may be required under applicable laws and regulations.

The shares have been subscribed in cash at a face value of Rs 10 per equity share.
