
New Delhi: Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has reported a strong financial performance for the first quarter of FY 2025-26, registering a 24.87 percent year-on-year (YoY) growth in Profit After Tax (PAT), which stood at Rs 969.13 crore, compared to Rs 776.14 crore in the same period last year.
The company’s revenue from operations rose to Rs 4,416.83 crore during Q1, marking a 5.19 percent growth over the Rs 4,198.77 crore posted in Q1 of FY 2024-25.
Profit Before Tax (PBT) for the quarter also saw a significant rise of 24.28 percent, reaching Rs 1,289.24 crore as against Rs 1,037.34 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
BEL’s order book position remained robust, standing at Rs 74,859 crore as on July 1, 2025, reflecting a healthy pipeline of defence and allied sector projects.
The company's performance in Q1 underscores its continued focus on operational efficiency, project execution, and technology-driven growth across its core defence and non-defence segments.
