New Delhi: State-owned Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has declared its standalone and consolidated results for the financial year that ended on March 31. RVNL recorded a net profit of Rs 1,420.55 crores in FY23. The net profit of the company has increased by 27.9 percent from Rs 1,110.02 crores on a y-o-y basis. On a q-o-q basis, the company recorded an increase in net profit from Rs 382.42 crores to Rs 359.25 crores.
The company's revenue from operations increased from Rs 19,381.71 crores in FY22 to Rs 20,281.57 crores in FY23, registering a growth of 4.64 percent on a y-o-y basis. On a q-o-q basis, revenue from operations increased from Rs 5,012.09 crores in Q3FY23 to Rs 5,719.83 crores in Q4FY23.
RVNL's total expenses increased from Rs 18,783.38 crores in FY22 to Rs 19,638.49 crores in FY23, registering a growth of 4.55 percent on a y-o-y basis. On a q-o-q basis, the total expenses increased from Rs 4,889.05 crores in Q3FY23 to Rs 5,497.61 crores in Q4FY23.
The board recommended a final dividend of Rs 0.36 per equity share for the financial year 2022-23 subject to the approval of the shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting. The final dividend would be paid within 30 days from the date of its declaration at the AGM.
