New Delhi: State-owned construction firm NBCC (India) Limited will execute the Rajasthan Mandapam Convention Centre and allied infrastructure projects in Jaipur, following Cabinet approval by the Government of Rajasthan for a revised project cost of approximately Rs 5,800 crore.

The project, to be developed by the Rajasthan State Industrial Development & Investment Corporation (RIICO), marks a significant scale-up from the earlier approved cost of around Rs 3,700 crore. It will be implemented by NBCC under a self-financing model, ensuring financial sustainability along with transparency and efficiency.

Planned near Jaipur International Airport, the large-scale development will span over 90 acres and include a world-class convention centre, expo halls, IT/ITES spaces, global capability centres, hospitality and retail infrastructure, residential components, and a natural history museum. The project will also feature riverfront development along the Dravyawati river, with a focus on sustainability and urban resilience.
