New Delhi: Navratna steel PSU, RINL-VSP on Friday announced that it has registered spectacular performance on both production and marketing fronts during H1 of the current financial year 2023-24.
According to the company, the cumulative sale of wire rod coils (WRC) of 3,64,000 tons, structural sales of 2,23,000 tons and value added steel (VAS) sales 6,82,000 achieved during the first half of the current financial year FY 2023-24 are the best sales performance achieved for any H-1 (April-September period), since inception.
During the current H1, RINL has achieved a sales volume of 1.95 million tons and a sales turnover of Rs 10,780 crore in finished steel which registered an impressive growth of 40 percent and 25 percent respectively, over CPLY.
Further, on production from, the company has recorded the production of 22,81,000 tons of hot metal from blast furnaces 1&2, 11,92,000 tons of hot metal from blast furnace - 2, 2,86,000 tons of SBM products, 2,99,000 tons of WRM-2 products, 2,91,000 tons of products from structural mill, 8,76,000 tons of finished steel from the expansion units during the period April-September 2023-24 registered an impressive growth of 16 percent, 17 percent, 24 percent, 15 percent, 19 percent and 19 percent growth respectively over the corresponding period last year (CPLY) – April - September 2022-23 Financial year and all the above have also registered as the best ever production for any H1 (April-September period), since inception.
Appreciating the entire RINL team for their outstanding performance during the 1st half of the current fiscal, RINL CMD Atul Bhatt has said that the dedication and commitment of RINL's workforce have been pivotal to RINL’ success. Bhatt expressed confidence that the RINL workforce will continue to excel further to record the best performance in the current fiscal.
