The agreement, signed in Ranchi, lays out a strategic framework for collaboration between the two public sector enterprises. It aims to identify, explore, and jointly pursue consultancy assignments and infrastructure development projects, especially in the areas of mining, power, renewable energy, and logistics.
Leveraging its five-decade-long experience and global reach, RITES will bring to the table its international expertise, market intelligence, and infrastructure know-how to support CMPDI in acquiring mining projects and executing consultancy assignments. The collaboration will also involve undertaking feasibility studies and detailed assessments across mutually agreed geographies.
As part of the partnership, RITES and CMPDI will also jointly submit proposals for mining and evacuation infrastructure projects, both domestically and internationally, and design capacity-building programmes.
