RVNL secures East Coast Railway contract for IP-based video surveillance system

New Delhi: Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from East Coast Railway for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of an IP-based video surveillance system for rolling stock, the company informed stock exchanges on Thursday.

The work involves deploying the surveillance system as per the latest RDSO Specification (RDSO/SPN/TC/106/2025, Version 3.1). The project is part of RVNL’s regular business operations.

According to the company’s disclosure, the contract is domestic in nature and requires commencement within 30 days of award, with completion scheduled within 180 days thereafter. The project value, excluding GST, is Rs 9.64 crore.

RVNL clarified that neither the promoter group nor related entities have any interest in the awarding organisation and that the contract does not fall under related-party transactions.
