SECI participates in Aatmnirbhar Bharat Utsav 2024

New Delhi: Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI), a PSU under the administrative control of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) announced its participation in Aatmnirbhar Bharat Utsav 2024 which is being organised by India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) and Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) from January 3 to January 10.

The works of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Information Technology, Ministry of Food Processing, Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, Ministry of MSME, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Ministry of Defence and DPIIT are displayed in the fair.

The Minister of Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Textiles Piyush Goyal inaugurated the Self-reliant India Utsav at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on Wednesday 3rd January 2024. He said it is our responsibility to make India self-reliant.

The Commerce Minister said that the self-reliant India Utsav represents the emerging strengths of the country. This festival will continue till January 10. During this, the progress made in the direction of self-reliance in the country will be showcased. He also awarded the winners of “One District and One Product” (ODOP).

SECI is engaged in promotion and development of various renewable energy resources, especially solar & wind energy, RE based storage systems, trading of power, R&D as well as RE base products like Green Hydrogen, Green Ammonia, RE powered EV etc.

The company is one of the nodal agencies for the implementation of a number of schemes of MNRE. The company also has a Category 1 power trading license and is active in this domain through trading of solar, wind, hybrid, RTC, BSESS power from projects set up under the schemes being implemented by it.
