
New Delhi: SJVN successfully hosted its first Customer Meet in New Delhi, reinforcing its commitment to strengthening stakeholder engagement and fostering a robust power sector. The event was inaugurated by VK Singh, Member Secretary, Northern Regional Power Committee (NRPC), in the presence of RK Chaudhary, CMD (Additional Charge), Sushil Sharma, Director (Projects), Prem Prakash, CVO, and senior representatives from various State DISCOMs.
In his welcome address, Chaudhary acknowledged the crucial role of stakeholders in shaping SJVN’s journey over the past three decades. He emphasized that the Customer Meet serves as a key platform for engaging with beneficiaries, addressing challenges, and exploring innovative solutions. He also reiterated the company’s shared vision of achieving 50,000 MW capacity by 2040, with a focus on delivering reliable, sustainable, and affordable power to meet India’s growing energy demands.
Singh, in his inaugural address, underscored the importance of open dialogue and collaboration in navigating the evolving energy landscape. He highlighted that forums like these provide an opportunity to collectively work towards national energy goals and a sustainable power sector.
The event featured discussions on adapting to emerging power requirements, improving service delivery mechanisms, and strengthening institutional partnerships. It concluded with an interactive session, where stakeholders shared valuable feedback and insights, paving the way for actionable outcomes and enhanced cooperation.
