NHPC commissions Unit no 2 of 'Baira Siul Power Station'

NHPC Limited has commissioned the Unit no 2 (60 MW) of its 180 MW (3 x 60 MW) 'Baira Siul Power Station' located in Himachal Pradesh
Himachal Pradesh/New Delhi: NHPC Limited, India’s premier hydropower company and a ‘Mini Ratna’ Category-I PSU under the administrative control of the Ministry of Power, has commissioned the Unit no 2 (60 MW) of its 180 MW (3 x 60 MW) 'Baira Siul Power Station' located in Himachal Pradesh. Unit no 2 has been tested and commissioned after completion of Renovation and Modernization works. The commercial operation of the Unit no 2 of the Baira Siul Power Station will start from 00.00 Hrs of 29th December 2019.
