NHPC overall profit dips, but Q4 emerges as a bright spot

Revenue at Rs 2,186.25 crore in Q4

The total revenues for the fourth quarter of FY19 stood at Rs 2,186.25 crore as opposed to Rs 1.406.07 crore in the year-ago period. For the entire financial year, total income increased to Rs 9,085.96 crore from Rs 8,358.77 crore in 2017-18.

NHPC's registered a total income of Rs 9,846.81 crore in FY2018-19, up from Rs 8,785.66 crore in 2017-18.

Board recommends dividend of Re 0.75 per equity

NHPC's board recommended a final dividend of Re 0.75 per equity share of the face value of Rs 10 per share for the financial year 2018-19. This dividend is in addition to the interim dividend of Re 0.71 per equity share that NHPC paid in March this year on the basis of the profit.
