Non-contact warfare will be our advantage: Army Chief in ARTECH

New Delhi: ARTECH is barely 5 years old and it has started showing the serious potentials and scientific capabilities the army personnel are equipped with. Imagine developing a system that immobilises engine if the driver is inebriated beyond the permissible limit, monitors seat belt, maintains the attention of the driver on road through a sensing camera, keeps away from drowsy driving and also has a tailboard sensor to prevent damages and now guess the price of the system. Its just Rs 10,320 before you run your thoughts to hundreds of thousands. This integrated vehicle system has been designed by Major T Kishore Kumar and his team. That's ARTECH.

Army Chief General Bipin Rawat inaugurated the one day Army Technology Seminar ARTECH 2019 on Monday at Manekshaw Centre in New Delhi.
