NSIC Director (Planning & Marketing) P Udayakumar gets another tenure extension

P Udayakumar, who is currently as Director (Planning & Marketing) of NSIC, has been given another tenure extension till August 31, 2022

New Delhi: P Udayakumar, who is currently as Director (Planning & Marketing) of National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC), has been given another tenure extension till August 31, 2022. According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal for the extension of the tenure of Udayakumar as Director (Planning & Marketing) of NSIC with effect from November 8, 2021, to July 31, 2022, i.e. date of his superannuation or until further orders. Earlier his services were extended for a period of five years, till November 8, 2021. He has been serving as Director (Planning & Marketing) of NSIC since November 2010.

Udayakumar is Engineering Graduate in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University. He also completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Management in Marketing Management from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. Prior to joining NSIC in 2010, he was serving as Chief Marketing Manager in Chennai Petroleum Corporation (CPCL).

NSIC is a Miniratna PSU under the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises of India. NSIC has been working to promote, aid and foster the growth of micro, small and medium enterprises in the country. It operates through a countrywide network of offices and technical centres in the country. NSIC has also set up a training-cum-incubation centre managed by professional manpower.
