NTPC gets ISTD award for innovative training practices

New Delhi: Maharatna power PSU NTPC Limited has won the prestigious ISTD award in Learning & Development for Innovative Training Practices for the year 2018-19 and 2019- 20 by the Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD). In total, 34 teams participated in the event and NTPC won the final round held at the Scope Convention Centre. The prize money included a cheque of Rupees 1 lakh along with a certificate and a trophy.

Recently, NTPC had also been conferred the prestigious 'Role Model' Award at the 11th CII National HR Excellence Award 2020-21.

Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD)

ISTD, established in April 1970, is a national level professional & non-profit society registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. It has a large membership of individuals and institutions involved in the area of training and development of Human Resource from Government, Public and Private Sector Organizations & Enterprises; Educational and Training Institutions and other Professional Bodies. The Society is affiliated to the International Federation of Training and Development Organizations (IFTDO), Geneva and Asian Regional Training and Development Organizations (ARTDO), Manila.
