New Delhi: The price of cooking gas was hiked by 28 paisa per cylinder and aviation turbine fuel (ATF) price was hiked by Rs 1,595.63 per kilolitre, making this the third straight monthly increase in rates in the wake of firming global prices, a price notification issued by state-owned oil firms said on Wednesday.

After factoring in the increase, LPG now costs Rs 82 more than the rate in 2014, when the BJP government assumed power. The ATF, on the other hand, is now going to cost Rs 65,067.85 per kl in the national capital after factoring in the 2.5 percent increase.

The price of non-subsidised LPG, on the other hand, has increased by Rs 6 per 14.2-kg cylinder, taking it up to Rs 712.50. This is the third straight increase in LPG rate.
