PK Agarwal set to be new CMD of CCI

New Delhi: Pradeep Kumar Agarwal is set to be new Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Cotton Corporation of India Limited (CCI), a PSU company under the Ministry of Textile. Agarwal's name has been recommended by a Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Friday. He is currently serving as Director (Marketing) in the same organisation.

Agarwal has been selected for the post of CMD of CCI from the list of eight candidates who were interviewed by the selection panel. A total of four candidates, including Agarwal, were on the list were from CCI Limited, two candidates from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) and one other who was from PEC Limited.

Agarwal also was recommended for the post of Director (Marketing) CCI on January 3 by PESB panel. That time he was working as Director (Finance and Commercial) in the same company.
