New Delhi: Pankaj Kumar Goswami is set to be new Director (Operations) of Oil India Limited (OIL), a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. Goswami's name has been recommended by a Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Friday. He is currently serving as Chief Manager (Projects) in the same organisation.

Goswami has been recommended for the post of Director (Operations) of Oil India Limited (OIL) from a list of eight candidates who were interviewed by the selection panel. A total of six candidates, including Goswami, were from Oil India Limited and two other candidates were from Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) and ONGC Videsh Limited.

With his new appointment, Goswami will replace Pramod Kumar Sharma, who is currently serving as Director (Operations) of Oil India Limited (OIL) since June 1, 2015.
