PNB appoints M Paramasivam as ED on the Board of the Bank

New Delhi: Punjab National Bank (PNB) has appointed M Paramsivam as Executive Director (ED) on the board of the bank for a period of three years, PNB stated in a BSE filing dated December 1. Paramsivam has assumed the charge of ED on Thursday as per the filing. In another BSE filing, PNB said that Sanjay Kumar, has ceased to be the Executive Director of the Bank with effect from December 1 upon his superannuation on November 30. So, Paramsivam will join as ED because Sanjay Kumar has attained the age of superannuation.

"In continuation of our intimation dated November 21, the Exchange is hereby informed
M Paramasivam has assumed the office of Executive Director of the Bank on
December 1 in terms of the Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance,
Government of India Notification eF. No. 4/6/2021-8O.I dated November 21, for a period
of three years or until further orders, whichever is earlier," said PNB in the regulatory filing.

"There is no inter se relationship between M Paramasivam and the other Directors
of the Bank. The brief profile of M Paramasivam shall be submitted shortly," it added.
