ACC approves appointment of Raj Kumar Dubey for BPCL’s Director (HR) post
New Delhi: Raj Kumar Dubey has been appointed as Director (HR) of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), a PSU under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoPNG). The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of MoPNG for the appointment of Dubey on Friday. Presently, he is serving as Executive Director in Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL).
According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Dubey has been appointed to the post with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post till the date of his superannuation, i.e. March 31, 2026, or until further orders. whichever is earlier.
Earlier, PSU Watch had reported when Dubey was recommended for the post of Director (HR) of BPCL by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on December 22, 2022. He was among six candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel for the same position.
As Director (HR) of BPCL, Dubey will be a member of the board of directors and will report to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He will be overall in charge of coordinating and implementing personnel & industrial relations policies, management functions, administrative control etc. in the corporation.
