ACC clears appointment of Romon Sebastian Louis as Director (Services Business) of Balmer Lawrie

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Romon Sebastian Louis as Director (Services Business) at Balmer Lawrie & Co. Limited (BLC) on August 21.

Louis, who is presently serving as Executive Director (Logistics Infrastructure & Cold Chain) in the same organisation, was recommended for the said post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) Panel on May 6. He was selected for the post from a list of of five candidates, who were appeared for the interview for the same post.

According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Louis will take charge of the new role for a tenure of five years from the date of assumption, or until the date of his superannuation, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
