Brijesh Dixit set to be next Managing Director of REIL
New Delhi: Brijesh Dixit is set to be next Managing Director (MD) of Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments Limited (REIL). He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Wednesday. Presently, he is serving as Executive Director (Depot & Machineries) in Indian Railways.
Dixit has been recommended for the post of Managing Director of REIL from a list of 12 candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on July 24. Out of 12 candidates, three candidates were from SAIL, two candidates from Indian Railways and one each from REIL, HEC Limited, Richardson & Cruddas Limited, Central Electronics Limited, BSNL, Indian Oil and RINL-VSP.
As Managing Director of REIL, Dixit will be the Chief Executive of the company. He will be accountable to its board of directors and government and shareholders. He also will be responsible for the efficient functioning of the company, and for achieving its corporate objectives and performance parameters.
