Capt. Chandran Durai Daniel assumes charge as Director (Bulk Carriers & Tankers) of SCI

New Delhi: Capt. Chandran Durai Daniel has assumed charge as Director (Bulk Carriers & Tankers) at Shipping Corporation of India (SCI), following his appointment by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways.

Capt. Daniel has assumes charge of the post with effect from May 5. Prior to this, he was serving as General Manager (Bulk Carrier Commercial and SVC Commercial) in the same organisation. He was recommended for the post by the PESB panel from a list of six candidates, who were interviewed in selection meeting held on July 17, 2025.

SCI said its management and employees have welcomed and felicitated Daniel on his induction to the company’s Board.
