Diwakar Kaushik takes over as Regional Executive Director (North) of NTPC

New Delhi: Diwakar Kaushik has assumed additional charge as Regional Executive Director (RED) of NTPC’s Northern Region Headquarters with effect from January 1, according to an official statement. He is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NSPCL (NTPC-SAIL Power Company Limited).

Prior to this assignment, Kaushik served as Regional Executive Director (Western Region-II) at Raipur and has held several key leadership positions during his long association with NTPC.

A Mechanical Engineering graduate from NIT Kurukshetra, Kaushik joined NTPC in 1987 as an Executive Trainee. He also holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from IGNOU. Over a career spanning nearly 38 years, he has gained extensive experience across critical domains such as operations, ERP, and information technology.

Kaushik has worked at several NTPC stations and offices, including NTPC Auraiya, Faridabad, Dadri, Mouda, and NTPC Corporate Centre–EOC, Noida. He has also headed major NTPC projects such as NTPC Auraiya (Uttar Pradesh), NTPC Simhadri (Andhra Pradesh), and NTPC Lara (Chhattisgarh).

With his rich and diverse professional experience, Kaushik is expected to play a significant role in strengthening NTPC’s operations in the Northern Region. The organisation expressed confidence that the region will benefit from his dynamic leadership and strategic guidance in the period ahead.
