Govt panel recommends NLC's Mukesh Agarwal for Director (Finance) post at CIL

New Delhi: A Search-cum-Selection Committee formed by the Ministry of Coal has picked Mukesh Agarwal, who is currently working as an Executive Director (ED) at Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC) India Limited, for appointment to the post of Director (Finance) at Maharatna PSU Coal India Ltd (CIL), an official order issued on Monday showed.

The Search-cum-Selection Committee interviewed four candidates on October 13. Two candidates, including Agarwal, were from NLC India Ltd, while one was from ECIL and another was from Konkan Railway Corporation.
