Harishankar Chaturvedi set to be next Director (Projects) of MRVC

New Delhi: Harishankar Chaturvedi is set to be next Director (Projects) of Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Limited (MRVC), a PSU under the Ministry of Railways. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Monday. Presently, he is serving as Chief Project Manager in the same organisation.

Chaturvedi has been recommended for the post of Director (Projects) of MRVC from a list of 10 candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on February 23. These candidates include senior officials from organisations such as RITES Limited, Ircon International Limited, and the Ministry of Railways, among others.

As Director (Projects) of MRVC, Chaturvedi will be a member of the Board of Directors and will report to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He will be overall in charge of planning, detailed engineering and execution of various civil engineering works and projects management and give necessary technical and management guidelines, promoting indigenisation under the AtmaNirbhar Scheme of the government.
