Joshit Ranjan Sikidar assumes charge as Director (Finance) of SECI

New Delhi: Joshit Ranjan Sikidar has assumed charge as Director (Finance) of Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), a Mini-Ratna PSU under the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE). According to an official statement, Sikidar has assumed charge of the post with effect from September 12, 2023. Prior to this, he was serving as Group General Manager (Finance) and Company Secretary of RITES Limited.

Earlier, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy for appointment of Sikidar on August 29, 2023.

Sikidar is a Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary, Cost Accountants and MBA (Finance), with the total post-qualification experience of more than 30 years. His total tenure of service includes more than four years in RITES, more than 16 years in NSPCL (A joint venture of NTPC & SAIL) and more than nine years in SAIL's Bhilai Steel Plant.

He has a rich amount of experience of into finance establishment, corporate expenditure, corporate taxation cell, treasury functions, expotech finance, compliances and corporate governance of the company.
