Mahesh Chander Gupta set to be next Director (Marketing) of NFL

New Delhi: Mahesh Chander Gupta is set to be next Director (Marketing) of National Fertilizers Limited (NFL), a PSU under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Thursday. Presently, he is serving as Chief General Manager (Business Development - Gas) in Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL).

Gupta has been recommended for the post of Director (Marketing) of NFL from a list of 10 candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on September 5. Out of 10 candidates, two candidates were from IOCL, two from RINL, and one each from NFL, EIL, BHEL, MRPL, PEC Limited and Coal India Limited.

As Director (Marketing) of NFL, Gupta will be a member of the board of directors and will report to the Chairman & Managing Director (CMD). He will act as head of the marketing division of the company. He will be responsible for marketing operations of the company including formulation and implementation of the marketing policies keeping in view company's profitability and objectives.
