Nikunj Kumar Srivastava appointed as nominee director of MOIL

New Delhi: State-owned MOIL said in a regulatory filing on Friday that Nikunj Kumar Srivastava has been appointed by the central government as a nominee director on the board of directors of MOIL Limited with immediate effect till March 6, 2024, or until further orders.

"Accordingly, Sukhveer Singh, ceases to be Director on the Board of MOIL Limited," said the filing.

Brief profile

Nikunj Kumar Srivastava is an IAS of 1998 Batch of Madhya Pradesh Cadre. He has MTech in Mechanical Engineering and MPA from the University of California. Currently, Srivastava is the Principal Secretary, Department of Mineral Resources, Government of Madhya Pradesh.

He is having experience of more than 23 years in various fields like administration, urban development, foreign trade, labour and employment, management, public policy, finance, etc.

He has also attended various national and international training programmes during his career. He has received many awards like Award for Excellence in implementation of schemes under the Mahatma Gandhi NREGA from the central government, State Health Award by Madhya Pradesh's government.
