
New Delhi: The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has shortlisted 12 candidates for the post of Director (Exploration) at Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), an order issued by the headhunter and accessed by PSU Watch shows. The interviews for the post are slated to take place on April 17 between 9 am and 11 am. The PESB has asked the ONGC Chairman to attend the meeting to assist the Board in making its recommendation.
Out of the 12 shortlisted candidates, eight are from ONGC, two from Oil India Ltd (OIL) and one from the Directorate General of Hydrocarbons (DGH) and one from ONGC Videsh Ltd (OVL). The eight shortlisted candidates from ONGC include, Om Prakash Sinha (ED and head, Institute of Reservoir Studies), Ajay Ratan (ED), Tarun Kumar Mathuria (GGM and Basin Manager, Assam and Arakan Basin), Ashwani Kumar Walia (GGM and Block Manager, A&AFB), Vikas Mohan (CGM and chief of Geophysical services), K Karvannan (CGM and Basin Manager, KG-PG Basin, Rajahmundry), Dinesh Singh (CGM, Corporate Strategy) and Awadhesh Prasad (CGM, Reservoir).
From OVL, Anupma Baveja (CGM and Head, Exploration and Development) has been shortlisted. Prabhakar Thakur (CGM) has been shortlisted from DGH. From OIL, Anup Kumar (CGM, geophysics) and Dharam Singh Manral (CGM, Exploration and Development Directorate) have been shortlisted. Candidates have been asked to come prepared for to present/speak on their achievements and their vision for the company.
