PESB names Dr Dulal Halder for ONGC Videsh Ltd's Director (Operations) post

New Delhi: Dr Dulal Halder is set to be next Director (Operations) of ONGC Videsh Limited, international arm of ONGC under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoPNG). He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Monday. Presently, he is serving as Chief General Manager at ONGC Limited.

Dr Halder has been recommended for the post of Director (Operations) of ONGC Videsh Limited from a list of 11 candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on September 15. All the 11 candidates who were shortlisted by the PESB panel, were from ONGC.

As Director (Operations) of ONGC Videsh Limited, Dr Halder will be a member of the Board of Directors and will report to the Managing Director. He will be responsible for development and production operations, project management, managing technical and field service, procurement of material and services, contracts, marketing portfolio and risk management.
