PESB names Prem Singh Meena for RITES’ Director (Projects) post

New Delhi: Prem Singh Meena is set to be next Director (Projects) of RITES Limited, a PSU under the Ministry of Railways. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Friday. Presently, he is serving as Executive Director in the same organisation.

Meena has been recommended for the post of Director (Projects) of RITES Limited from a list of 12 candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB panel in its selection meeting held on December 12. Of the 12 candidates, five were from RITES Limited, two each from Engineers India Limited (EIL) and Indian Railways, and one each from CONCOR, Indian Oil, and NTPC Limited.

The Director (Projects) at RITES (Rail India Technical and Economic Service) leads the company's vast infrastructure and consultancy projects, overseeing planning, execution, contract management, and delivery for large-scale railway, metro, airport, and other transport initiatives, ensuring strategic direction and operational excellence.
