PESB recommends A Malviya for ECIL's Director (Personnel) post

New Delhi: A Malviya is set to be the next Director (Personnel) of Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL), a PSU under the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE). He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Tuesday. Presently, he is serving as General Manager in the same organisation.

Malviya has been recommended for the post of Director (Personnel) of ECIL from a list of seven candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on July 25. Out of seven candidates, two candidates were from Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), two from Steel Authority of India (SAIL) and one each from ECIL, Munitions India Limited and Haldia Petrochemicals Limited.

As Director (Personnel) of ECIL, Malviya will be a member of the Board of Directors and will report to Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He will be overall in charge of coordinating and implementing personnel and industrial relations policies, management functions, administrative control etc. in the organisation. He will play a key role in the formulation of Human Resources Development policies and strategies and their implementation.
