Praveen Kumar set to be next Managing Director of DFCCIL

New Delhi: Praveen Kumar is set to be the next Managing Director (MD) of Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL), a PSU under the Ministry of Railways. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Thursday. Presently, he is serving as Executive Director in the same organisation.

Kumar has been recommended for the post of MD of DFCCIL from a list of four candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB panel in its selection meeting held on June 13. The candidates on the list include DFCCIL, Ircon International Limited and Indian Railways.

As Managing Director of DFCCIL, Kumar will be the chief of the organisation and will be accountable to its board of Directors and Government and Shareholders. He will also be responsible for the efficient functioning of the organisation for achieving its corporate objectives and performance parameters.
